Otto Wallin, heavyweight contender, is available and willing to take on Anthony Joshua, two-time world champion at heavyweight. The date is April 1.

Wallin is one of the possible opponents for Joshua in his comeback fight.

Some outlets believe Australian heavyweight Demsey McKean is the frontrunner to face Joshua in his return.

After suffering back to back defeats to Oleksandr Uzyk, the British star wants to return to his winning ways.

Dmitriy Salaita, Wallin’s promoter insists that Joshua must be re-inducted against a credible opponent.

“We will see how serious Joshua takes returning to an elite heavyweight division by the level of his opponent. Salita stated that Joshua can defeat McKean in a remarkable fashion by training himself alone.” Sky Sports

“A fight with such an opponent won’t prove anything as an elite fighter and will not allow for any real improvements from a trainer. Joshua has been associated many famous names. Is it true? I don’t know. Not if he fights an unknown fighter with a shining record.

Wallin’s only defeat is a hard loss to Tyson Fury, WBC champion back in 2019.

Salita explains how Deontay Wilder, who suffered back-to-back defeats to Fury and came back against a top-rated opponent like Robert Helenius. He believes Joshua should do the exact same.

“After Wilder lost against Fury, he fought a legitimate top 10 heavyweight, a world-rated, bona fide heavyweight. Based on his training with Malik Scott, and is now ready to fight the best. Salita said she had a lot of respect and admiration for Malik’s work with Wilder. “He was confident to take on a serious fight after that horrible loss.”

“Otto is available and willing to come to the UK to fight Anthony Joshua on April 1. It would be a huge fight!”
