Washington arrived in Georgia as the 2020 5-star prospect. He was a secondary contributor in his first two seasons. But, he made a significant contribution to the team in 2022 when he joined forces with tight end Brock Bowers.
He finished the year with 28 receptions for 454 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of his catches came in the SEC Championship Game defeat to LSU. While his numbers don’t jump off the page, he was part of a loaded offense that often spread the ball around. It isn’t difficult to envision the 6’7″ match-up nightmare putting up better statistics in the NFL.
Bleacher Report’s NFL Scouting Department listed Washington as the 32nd-best overall player and second-best tight end on its latest big board.
Only Notre Dame’s Michael Mayer was listed ahead of the Georgia star at the position. Both could end up being among the top 20 draft picks. In fact, Mayer goes No. 14th overall to New England Patriots. Washington goes No. 15 to the Green Bay Packers in B/R’s latest mock draft.
Washington’s blocking ability and agility downfield as pass-catcher could make him an impact rookie.
Kelee Ringo is the latest Bulldog to declare in the NFL draft.

Kelee Ringo, corner-back, is a more upside-oriented pick for the position. Most famous for his National Championship win-six, Ringo is also a well-known player. Despite his recent fall in mock drafts, he is still a projected pick in the first round. This year’s corner class is really good and Ringo is apart of the fold. Although he may not be the most NFL-ready prospect, he seems to have the most upside. Ringo is still expected to be a first-round pick.
